INSIGHT
Contaminants like benzene are found naturally in our environment, and we live with them daily without concern. Yet many cases involving allegations of exposure to these contaminants are often blown well out of proportion.
IMPACT
In this matter, we created a simple demonstrative using data from a peer-reviewed study that measured the natural levels of benzene found in the foods we consume daily. You can view the ppb concentration of a grocery item by selecting it. Then, select the back button at the top right corner to return to the grocery aisle. With the use of this visual, we were able to help the jury discern hype from reality.
